Front-End Software Engineer Intern

Relli, Inc. ("RELLI") is an up-and-coming FinTech startup that is working to create a marketplace where Retail Investors (US Citizens over 18) can participate in lucrative Commercial Real Estate Investments. This will allow Average Joes to diversify their portfolio into Real Estate with as little as $100! Working with RELLI as a Software Development Intern is more than just padding for your resume. Our team will see their work come to life in our product launch in the coming months, when we plan to help thousands of investors participate in Real Estate for the first time! Full or Part-Time Employment may be offered at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsive web interfaces, organizing modular code, and solving problems creatively.
  • Add new features and functionality to enhance the user experience.
  • Perform code cleanups to ensure readability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues to ensure smooth functionality across different browsers and devices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the codebase.
  • Work with APIs to fetch and display data on the front end.
  • Test and optimize web pages for performance, speed, and accessibility.

Qualifications

  • A showcase of your past projects.
  • Comfortable working in a Virtual First environment.
  • A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind, and web standards.
  • A strong understanding of Javascript, React.js, and Next.js.
  • Solid experience using and working with RESTful API backends.
  • Keen attention to detail with a strong passion for creating aesthetically pleasing UI/UX designs.
  • Basic knowledge and interest in financial markets/digital assets trading.
