SDI is a private equity firm focusing on under-performing commercial real estate assets throughout the United States. It was founded in 2009 by Orlando Garcia and is located in Coral Gables, FL. Our staff includes our Managing Director, several asset managers, underwriters, and operations personnel. Our team brings vast knowledge across an array of disciplines including property management, finance, capital markets, acquisitions, law, development, sales and leasing. SDI is currently operating two opportunity funds (100% invested), and working towards Fund III. Our funds implement a value add and opportunistic strategy, targeting distressed commercial real estate loans and property.
