What Happened to Cadre, and What Investors Use Now
The short answer
Yieldstreet bought Cadre in a deal that closed in January 2024, then renamed itself Willow Wealth, so cadre.com now sends new investors to Willow. Former Cadre investors who want to pick individual commercial deals look at sponsor marketplaces such as Relli. Others stay with Willow Wealth or move to large managers' funds.
- Cadre is part of Willow Wealth. Yieldstreet closed its purchase on January 23, 2024, then renamed itself Willow Wealth in late 2025.
- No new Cadre accounts. cadre.com sends new investors to Willow Wealth, and Cadre's adviser, CCV LLC, shows as inactive (checked Oct 20, 2026).
- Its secondary market is unconfirmed. We could not verify whether Cadre's old quarterly resale process still runs inside Willow Wealth.
- Former investors have three paths. The paths are individual deals from independent sponsors, large managers' funds, or staying with Willow.

What happened to Cadre?
Cadre was bought by Yieldstreet in a deal that closed on January 23, 2024, and Yieldstreet has since renamed itself Willow Wealth. On October 20, 2026, cadre.com said "Cadre has joined with Willow Wealth." The site let existing investors log in to see their portfolios and sent new investors to Willow Wealth.
Before the sale, Cadre was an online platform that offered accredited investors institutional-style commercial real estate deals and a pooled Direct Access Fund.
- November 30, 2023: Yieldstreet announces a definitive agreement to buy Cadre. The price was not disclosed, and press reports of it conflict.
- January 23, 2024: the acquisition closes.
- Late 2025: Yieldstreet changes its name to Willow Wealth.
- October 20, 2026: cadre.com points new investors to Willow Wealth.
Is Cadre part of Willow Wealth now?
Cadre belongs to Willow Wealth, and the broker-dealer named in cadre.com's footer, Willow Wealth Markets LLC (CRD 172295), was formerly called RealCadre LLC. The Willow Wealth (formerly Yieldstreet) guide covers the company's record, its income fund and its minimums.
New money
Can new investors still invest with Cadre?
New investors cannot open a standalone Cadre account, because cadre.com now sends them to Willow Wealth. Cadre's own adviser, CCV LLC (CRD 281876), shows as inactive in the adviser search of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
We could not confirm whether Cadre-branded deals still run inside Willow Wealth. If that matters to you, ask Willow Wealth directly and get the answer in writing.
Where investors go
What are the alternatives to Cadre?
The main alternatives to Cadre are Willow Wealth itself, sponsor marketplaces, and platforms that sell large managers' funds. The table lists Willow first as the default path. It orders the rest by how close each is to Cadre's original draw: choosing individual commercial deals one at a time.
| Platform | Who sponsors the deals | Who can invest | Minimum | Getting money out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Willow Wealth (Cadre's owner) | Mostly Willow and its affiliates | Mostly accredited | About $10,000 | Mostly held to term |
| Relli | Independent sponsors you choose among | Mostly accredited | From $25,000, set by each sponsor | Held until the sponsor sells |
| EquityMultiple | Larson Capital, for most new offerings | Accredited | $25,000; notes $5,000 | Offerings 5 to 7 years |
| Crowd Street (formerly CrowdStreet) | Large managers, funds only | Accredited | Typically from $5,000 | Each fund's own rules |
What's better than Cadre for institutional-quality real estate?
The label "institutional-quality" has no legal definition, so no platform is better than Cadre by label alone. What you can compare is the sponsor's record on similar properties, the debt it uses and how it reports to investors. The guide to what "institutional-quality" means explains the benchmarks behind the term.
Model choice
How do multi-sponsor marketplaces differ from Cadre?
A multi-sponsor marketplace lists offerings that several independent sponsors run, while Cadre selected and presented its deals under its own brand. On a marketplace, you compare sponsors' track records side by side and put your questions to the firm that will run the property. The guide to multi-sponsor marketplaces explains who pays the platform and what its review covers.
Existing holders
Is Cadre investing safe if you already hold a Cadre investment?
A Cadre investment carries the same risks it always did, because the platform's new name does not change the property or its operator. Each one is illiquid, and its result depends on the property and its operator. These steps keep you informed.
- Log in at cadre.com and download your statements and tax documents.
- Check Willow Wealth Markets LLC (CRD 172295) on FINRA BrokerCheck, run by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
- Ask Willow Wealth who now reports on each property and when your next update is due.
Did Cadre have a secondary market?
Yes, according to third-party reviews, including Mogul's Cadre alternatives page (modified October 10, 2026): Cadre offered a quarterly secondary-market process for some investments. We could not confirm on October 20, 2026, whether it still runs. See how early sales of private stakes work.
Are there Cadre alternatives with lower minimums?
Yes, but they buy something different: Fundrise funds from $10 and Arrived home shares from $100. For direct deals, the median minimum in SEC Form D filings was $50,000 in the year to September 30, 2026.

How did we check Cadre's status?
Relli read cadre.com, FINRA BrokerCheck and the SEC's adviser search on October 20, 2026. It dated the acquisition from the Cooley and Bisnow reports. For each alternative we compared who sponsors the deals, who can invest, the minimum and how money comes out. Platforms are ordered by closeness to Cadre's individual-deal model, not scored or ranked. No platform paid to be included.
